Hi, I’m Jenna (Jen)! The face behind ResuMATE Cairns.
I started ResuMATE because I’ve spent years working very closely with blue-collar employers and job seekers only to see the same thing over and over again:
Great and unbelievably capable people held back by resumes, applications and admin that felt overwhelming, confusing, annoying or just impossible to get done.
I know firsthand that not everyone sits behind a desk all day or feels confident navigating online applications, wording things “the right way”, or keeping on top of paperwork. And honestly, you shouldn’t have to.
What I Bring to the Table
Not only have I worked across recruitment, HR and workforce support in the blue-collar space for years but I have read, edited and submitted HUNDREDS of resumes.
This has given me a clear understanding of:
- What employers actually look for
- How resumes are read and shortlisted
- How online applications work (and why they’re so frustrating)
- The admin that piles up once work or business gets busy
That experience means I can help you present your experience clearly, confidently and in a way that makes sense, without you having to stress about wording, formatting or systems.
